Dreamchaser Sculpture & Print Set
Beautiful creature in my mind... glorious and golden, sparkling mane all acurve, tail held high and proud. I glide across the hourglass on his powerful back...free...full of my dreams. He carries my angel and he carries me...the sand, the forest, the mountain, the cloud...mine to cloister or...mine to share...past or future. Do I dare...deserve?
Dream Chaser is being offered here as both a print and a sculpture. Print size is 14"X18" with actual image size of 12"X16".
Upon request, the new owner's name may be hand printed in beautiful calligraphy on the banner above the "Chaser's" name. This makes a very special gift for a child or a valuable addition to any own collection someday to become a cherished family heirloom.

Sculpture - Freedom
"Real" carousel horses were carved from wood by highly skilled artisans who immigrated to this country from many areas of Europe. Some became quite famous. Today, the original and now antique carousel horses can sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars depending on who the original artist was and how well preserved the figure is.
This resin figure called FREEDOM was a Special Order sculpted in rememberance of our fallen heroes, families, friends and neighbors of September 11, 2001.
He was fashioned after a well-known American manufacturer of carousel horses, Colonel Charles Parker. Parker's horses were very stylistic with exciting poses and beautiful, graceful manes. This bronco has a similar stylized mane and a flowing and rippling tail. He is sculpted in a realistic manner with our American symbols and has gold shoes on his feet. He is beautifully airbrush-shaded by PJ's wonderful master painter into a mustang pinto. He has a three-dimensional star on his blue, gold and red blanket. His saddle is red and gold with blue outline. His girth is painted with red, white and blue stripes. He has a signature "star" brand on his hindquarters and a "Freedom" sparkle in his eye!
This piece is signed by the sculptress, Ann Reynolds, and carries the copyright of the producer, PJ's Carousel Collection. He stands approximately 10" high and weighs about 4 pounds. His name and the maximum number in his run are engraved in the brass plate at his mahogany stained wood base. This is a very small run making him a rare figure indeed!
PJ"s Carousel Collection is an internationally well-known manufacturer of fine reproduction miniature carousel horses and menagerie. The small company had been in business for over 25 years. The previous owner became ill and sold the business after a five-year lull. New management has restarted production of this gorgeous line of resin figures. Some of the animals have been ritired. Many are on the verge of being retired. Capture this symbol of the American spirit while you can!
